Case Study - Individual: Transitioning out and up to a new role
The Challenge
Sofia (Senior People Partner) had been made redundant from a consumer goods organisation she had worked at for over 20 years and wanted support maximise her impact at interview, to obtain a new and more senior role.
The Solution
Joanna did some mock interviews with Sofia to help her understand how she came across.
Both in terms of articulating her experience and expertise and, as a person. Joanna gave Sofia detailed feedback on aspects to work on in both areas in terms of what she said and the impact she had through her body language, overall appearance and voice. She also suggested some improvements to Sofia’s long and detailed CV and her LinkedIn profile.
The Result
Sofia got a new, more senior role at a global company after a few months, having gone through several rounds of interviews with them. She has now been there nearly 6 years.
